Mike Frost, Bass A former student of jazz legend Jaco Pastorius, Mike Frost is a composer, studio musician, educator, engineer, and leader of his own band, “Inner Voice,” which boasts two releases to date. Mike has co-led a two-bass project, “The Deep," currently performing in the New York area. Mike has been a music educator since 1976, helping to guide the development of thousands of both young and mature musicians. He is sought after for his creative ability to cross over all styles of music authentically, with a deep melodic pocket and beautiful creative solo approach. Mike is known for a unique quality of sound on his Clifford Roi six-string basses.
