A Night in Sedona

There’s something magical about Sedona—the red rocks, the stillness of the high desert, and the way the sun sets in a blaze of orange and crimson. Every time I return, I feel that same pull in my heart. And this Saturday, June 21st at 7PM, I’ll be back on stage in that sacred space, performing at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre with my incredible band—including my amazing daughter Teresa Joy on violin.
Sedona has always held a special meaning for me. One of my very first concerts after my long hiatus—nearly a decade of being unable to play the guitar after my accident—was right here in Sedona, in the beautiful courtyard of Tlaquepaque back in 1990. I remember that night like it was yesterday. I was nervous, unsure if I could make the magic happen again. But the energy of that Sedona crowd—their warmth, their love—lifted me back into the light. That evening marked the beginning of a brand new chapter in my life. Sedona became part of my story.
It still is.
Now, all these years later, I get to share the stage with my daughter Teresa Joy and my son Ben! I'm truly blessed to play with my family and these special gigs where I can perform with my kids is the greatest gift music has ever given me. We’ll be joined by our full band, and together, we’ll take you on a journey through flamenco, classical, original compositions, and those passionate rhythms that speak straight to the soul.
The Mary D. Fisher Theatre is a beautiful and intimate venue—one of my favorites in the world. There’s not a bad seat in the house. You’ll hear every note, every nuance, up close and personal. If you’ve never seen us live, this is the show to come to. And if you have… well, you know what kind of magic we make together.
Sedona, I can’t wait to see you again. Let’s make another memory together.
With love and gratitude,
Esteban
