Dear Friends,
I want to personally invite you to a very special evening of music coming up on Sunday, July 6 at 7pm, at one of my favorite venues in the world—the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Phoenix, Arizona.
If you've seen me perform before, you already know how much I love connecting with you through music. But if you’ve never experienced a concert at the MIM, you're in for something truly unique. It’s more than just a concert venue—it’s a celebration of music in all its forms, from every corner of the globe. It’s a place that honors the magic and power of instruments and musicians, and it holds a very special place in my heart.
Playing there always feels like a homecoming.
The concert hall at MIM is world-class. The acoustics are pure and rich, the energy in the room is always electric, and the staff—every one of them, from the lighting techs to the folks helping guests find their seats—treat artists and patrons alike with such grace and professionalism. Even the volunteers who give their time and energy to help make each show run smoothly are part of what makes performing there so memorable.
This show on July 6 is going to be extra special for me, because I’ll be joined by my full band, including my brilliant daughter Teresa Joy on violin. Many of you have seen her light up the stage with her passion and fire—there’s nothing quite like the musical bond between a father and daughter. I’m so proud to share that stage with her.
Together, we’ll be performing songs that span my career—from classical and flamenco-inspired pieces to some of the fan favorites that have been with me through the years. We’re even pulling out a few surprises just for this show.
