Gratitude After a Beautiful Mother’s Day Weekend in Prescott

To all of you who came out to the Elks Theatre in Prescott this past Saturday, May 10th, thank you from the bottom of my heart. What a beautiful afternoon of music, love, and connection. Your energy filled the room and truly made the Mother’s Day Weekend concert one to remember.

A huge thank you as well to the incredible staff and volunteers at the Elks Theatre—you are the heartbeat of that historic space, and your care and professionalism help bring the magic to life every time we step on that stage.

I also want to say how proud I am to announce that we’re moving forward with something very close to my heart: my Johnny Cash Tribute show at the Elks. It’s coming together, and I can’t wait to share the music from my tribute album, "Wear the Black." That record means a lot to me, and performing those songs live will be an experience I’m honored to bring to our Arizona audiences. So stay tuned—details coming soon.

And of course, I have to give special love to my daughter Teresa Joy, who powered through the performance even though she wasn’t feeling her best. Her passion and strength always inspire me, and I know many of you felt that in her playing. That’s the spirit of music—showing up, sharing, and giving all you have to the moment.
