Sedona, I'm Coming Home - Join us at the MDF

Hello, my friends,

I can’t begin to tell you how special Sedona is to me. There’s something about the red rocks, the energy in the air, and the kind souls that fill that town that always pulls at my heart. It’s a place where music doesn’t just echo — it breathes.

One of my very first performances after my long recovery — a time when I wasn’t sure I’d ever play again — happened right there in Sedona at Tlaquepaque in 1990. I remember the nerves, the excitement, the hope… and the overwhelming feeling that I was being given a second chance. That night changed everything. That’s why every time I return to Sedona, it feels like coming home.

Saturday, August 16 at 7pm, I’ll be playing again at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. It’s become a beautiful recurring home for our music — and I’m so grateful to all of you who keep showing up with open hearts.

I’ll be joined by my brilliant daughter Teresa Joy on violin, and our full band will be there to bring the rhythm, the soul, and the stories to life. Expect passion. Expect power. Expect peace. Most of all — expect connection.

So, if you’re in or near Sedona, or just looking for a reason to make a day trip to one of the most beautiful towns in the world, come spend the evening with us. I promise you an unforgettable night of music and emotion.

Until then, take care of one another. And as always…

Rock on, Arizona!

With love and gratitude,– Esteban
