The Beat Is Back: Joey Returns to Gainey!

As we gear up for our big return to the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort (Gainey Ranch) on Friday, December 12, 2025, I’ve got some beautiful news to share with you all—Joey is back on drums.
That’s right. Joe Morris, my original drummer, the heartbeat of our sound during those unforgettable years at the Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch in the 90s, is picking up the sticks once more.
For those of you who were there back in the day, you know just how much Joey meant to the energy and soul of those iconic nights. We built something electric together, something that still echoes in the hearts of “Gainey Ranchers” old and new.
Over the past couple of years, we were fortunate to have the immensely talented Adriel join us on drums. His youthful energy, positivity, and style added a fresh dynamic to the band, and I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. It takes grace to step into an established rhythm section—and even more grace to step out when the time is right. Adriel did both like the true pro he is.
But now... the original rhythm returns. And with it, a brand new setlist that pays homage to those legendary Gainey sets—plus a few holiday classics to lift your spirit.
This show isn’t just a performance—it’s a homecoming.
We’re bringing the full band, with my daughter Teresa Joy lighting up the stage with her violin, and we’re putting our hearts into every note. If you remember the magic of those Gainey nights, or if you’ve only heard the stories—this is your chance to be part of it again.
